Queen Elizabeth Pier
Queen Elizabeth is one of the harbour’s main operational piers, supporting large ferries, cruise ships and offshore vessels.

St Ola Pier
St Ola Pier supports a wide range of cargo and offshore activity, with flexible berthing and dedicated heavy lift infrastructure.

Jubilee Quay
Jubilee Quay is Scrabster’s primary cargo handling and laydown area, designed for heavy loads, storage and logistics operations.

Fish Market Quay

Fuel Quay
Fuel Quay provides essential infrastructure for vessels operating in and around Scrabster, offering Marine Gas Oil (MGO) bunkering, harbour services and a modern, high-capacity ice plant.

Anchorage
At Scrabster Roads, 3 to 4 cables E from the South end of the Queen Elizabeth Ro-Ro Pier. Anchorage subject to approval by the Harbour Trust.
Laydown and storage
Scrabster provides flexible laydown and storage space, with quaysides capable of handling high loads and containerised storage.
Dedicated laydown space at Jubilee Quay offers over 5,500 m² of usable area, with additional space totalling 11,473 m² across the wider quayside development. Load-bearing capacity of up to 50 kN/m² supports heavy plant, cranes and operational equipment, while container stacking makes efficient use of space during peak project phases.
Additional hardstanding compounds within the harbour estate provide further flexibility for short to medium-term storage, supporting a range of energy sector requirements from offshore support to decommissioning and renewables activity.
Lift and handling
Scrabster supports a wide range of heavy lift and cargo handling operations, with heavy lift capability of up to 70 tonnes available at key berths. This is complemented by dedicated lift pads and quayside infrastructure for safe and efficient cargo handling.

Operational sevices
Scrabster offers a comprehensive range of marine and operational support services, backed by on-site infrastructure and a network of experienced local suppliers. Services are designed to enable efficient turnaround and support a wide range of maritime and energy operations.

Waste
Scrabster Harbour Trust has an approved Waste Management Plan. Euro Bins for use by vessels are provided on all quays and special waste can be disposed of by arrangement with the port authority or through the vessel’s agents.
All vessels landing waste at Scrabster Harbour (other than those with approved exemptions from the MCA) must give notification of waste disposal to Port Control:
- where Scrabster is known to be the next port of call at 24 hours before arrival; or
- as soon as possible after Scrabster as a destination is known;
- where the duration of the voyage is less than 24 hours, at latest on departure from the previous port.

Security
Passenger and cargo vessels of 500 gross tonnage and above (including high-speed craft) are required to provide pre-arrival security information at least 24 hours in advance. A Declaration of Security (DoS) may be required for vessels arriving from non-SOLAS countries.
