In recent years Scrabster has made significant investments in deepening channels, strengthening quays and enhanced berthing facilities to support its expert cargo operation. This includes general cargo, bulk, refrigerated, containers, fuels and roll on/roll off.

Our Jubilee and St Ola Piers both benefit from heavy lift pads, and recent specialist movements included transformers, ballast blocks, rock armour, railway lines and fabricated steel modular units.

Scrabster provides a full range of support services, including weighbridge facilities, mobile cranes, stevedoring and transport.

Our port also benefits from established shipping links, including Eimskip’s weekly service from Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands with onward connections to England, Holland and Norway.
